Salvador Escobedo joined one of the largest oil and gas operators in South America as an international procurement consultant in 2024. Since joining the Houston, Texas-based company, he has provided the organization with valuable tools designed to expedite workflows and decrease processing expenses, among other time and money-saving initiatives. He also established the company’s first list of annual objectives, as well as a five-year strategy. In the past, Salvador Escobedo has worked as an international procurement advisor for global projects at China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Intl., and in several leadership and procurement positions with PEMEX Petroleos Mexicanos.
Salvador Escobedo studied economics as an undergraduate at Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico. He continued his education by earning a master of economics, followed by a master of public administration from Columbia University in New York City. He maintains several professional certifications, including Authentic Leader Development, Executive Education certification from the Harvard Business School. Away from his work in the oil and gas industry, he enjoys staying active by training for and competing in marathons and triathlons.
